1. Develops strategic approaches for analyzing and managing crisis and emergency situations.
2. Implements company programs relating to crisis and emergency response, as well as Disaster Recovery efforts.
3. Conducts assessments of Loss Prevention and operational performance that impacts shortage control in Hometown Stores.
4. Supports corporate initiatives and projects as needed.
Crisis Management
• Coordinates Crisis and Emergency conference calls for all SHC business formats.
• Gather and analyze information relating to crisis and emergency situations.
• Organize assets and resources to manage and respond to crisis and emergency situations.
• Mobilize the appropriate assets and resources once a crisis or emergency situations is identified.
• Initiate actions for Disaster Recovery.
• Ensure all plans, training and awareness materials are current and relevant.
• Ensure accurate and timely reports, record keeping and retention of documents as necessary.
• Liaison between SHC and the appropriate community and governmental agencies.
• Identify and communicate issues that must be addressed at a higher level.
• Supports LP department on projects as needed.
• Ability to analyze data and forecast risk.
• Ability to review large quantities of information and draw an accurate picture of a situation.
• Ability to organize and mobilize assets and resources quickly.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Good knowledge of basic retail operating processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
LP Manager, Hometown
• Serves as a member of the LP Leadership team and works cross-functionally to ensure achievement of all goals and business targets.
• Owns shrink and safety results for Hometown and supports Loss Prevention five play strategy
• Manages the detection, investigation and successful resolution of all internal investigations within the business.
• Conducts assessments of Loss Prevention and operational performance that impacts shortage control. Actively works with district teams in the development and implementation of action plans to improve performance.
• Knowledgeable in the areas of safety, OSHA and environmental programs, and ensures implementation and compliance in assigned region.
• Reviews safety inspections on a regular basis. Ensures the timely and accurate reporting of results and assists in the development and implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensures accurate and timely report writing, record keeping and retention of evidence by conducting periodic reviews
• Ensures the proper operation and repairs of alarm, EAS and CCTV equipment
• Educates and motivates region, district and store associates to achieve shrink, workers compensation and general liability goals
• Works as a liaison between SHC and the criminal justice community
• Demonstrates courageous leadership by identifying and communicating potential ethical or safety issues that must be addressed at a higher level.
• Manages and ensures reporting of critical incidents in assigned area of responsibility
• Ensures follow-up on required inventories and audits in order to control costs and shrinkage
Bachelors Level Degree
5 - 10 Years Experience
