Responsible for planning,
developing and executing of a
comprehensive Loss Prevention
Program for multiple lines of
business across HDS. Programs
are tailored based on unique
business needs and include
opportunities to define success
across each business unit in
theft and fraud / operational
loss prevention. Drive a program
to protect the assets of the
business. Design and execute
methodologies to deliver
positive results. Foster
partnerships within each
business unit leadership,
associated departments within
the business as well as
divisional leaders to deliver on
results. Drive profit
improvement through shrinkage
improvement in each business. |

Major
Tasks, Responsibilities and Key
Accountabilities
Develops
and executes a Loss Prevention
Program across several
businesses.
Plans, develops and executes
short- and long-term strategy to
protect the company assets to
include physical security
critical infrastructure,
operational excellence and loss
elimination.
Coordinates and maintains
partnerships with all
departments within businesses to
positively impact loss
prevention metrics. Develops
high quality training as
required to support loss
elimination.
Evaluates operational processes
for areas of opportunity, shrink
elimination, and develops
effective means to mitigate
losses.
Establishes loss prevention and
security goals, performance
expectations and standards.
Identifies theft and fraud
activity within businesses and
partners with management to
resolve any in-business cases.
Attracts, recruits and hires
high-performance diverse
associates into the
organization.
Nature and Scope
Solutions require analysis and
investigation.
Achieves planned results by
decisions and actions based on
professional methods, business
principles and practical
experience.
Manages a group or team of
professional individual
contributors and/or indirectly
supervises support staff.
Work Environment
Most of the time is spent
sitting in a comfortable
position and there is frequent
opportunity to move about. On
rare occasions there may be a
need to move or lift light
articles.
Usually in a comfortable
environment but with regular
exposure to factors causing
moderate physical discomfort
from such things as dust, fumes
or odors.
Typically requires overnight
travel more than 50% of the
time.
Essential Skills Minimum
Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests
if applicable |

requires BS/BA in related
discipline. |
|
|
Generally
7+ years experience in related
field. May require
certification. Advanced degree
may offset less experience in
some disciplines. |
